This little owl was chillin' on the handle of a shovel on our back deck for close to 3 hours this morning. So i got the gopro and did a time lapse on .5 sec intervals to make the gif (look inside).
.
.
the gif. Might be kinda quick tho...

.25 is better if you have that option — 4 frames/second, though not many, still makes a pretty solid gif. Cool post, though!

i would have if the hero3 had that option. Afterwards i remembered about the burst mode though 30photos in a second.... Even then, i dont know if i can set it to continuous burst or not.

That's beautiful mate.
Wish we had more owls around here.
Instead it's mostly cockatoos and lorikeets.
Here's some pics from the kitchen window of our old place in Manly, Sydney.

Yes, they are wild and everywhere in Eastern Australia.
The colourful little ones are rainbow lorikeets, and the big white ones are sulfur-crested cockatoos.
They are actually pretty destructive.
They can destroy a lawn, or rip all the wooden window frames to shreds in minutes.
Beautiful though.
